It's so easy to go through life without appreciation, despite the whole vibrating, pulsing, glowing gloriousness of the world around us. I am embarking on a daily practice of noticing and sharing beauty: one small effort to counteract the laziness of obliviousness, dismissal, and cynicism that can gradually sour our outlook on just about everything.

Had you been me as a little boy (or maybe now,) you would not have run away without flipping those big ON/OFF switches.
That happens to me all the time! I just spent days switching out photos. What camera are you using? You're getting some gorgeous stuff. I found you through Crash.
Almost all the photos posted so far were taken with my iPhone.
But I've ordered a Panasonic GF1, which should arrive sometime around Christmas. I'm looking forward to having some good glass, more pixels, and a lot more control like I did back in the day, when I shot exclusively on manual Nikon SLRs.
GF1-Micro 4/3, one of the hottest, most innovative cameras on the market. Nice.
