Elements

I generally make an early estimate of a restaurant's quality by its bread. If the bread sucks, I don't hold out much hope for the rest of the meal. This bread was spectacular.

Bread, oil, garlic, rosemary. More than enough substance and flavor for a meal.

Prettiest Niçoise EVAR

Niçoise Salad
I had dinner at a restaurant called Redwood in Bethesda this evening with my friend Deb. They served me this very elegant and beautifully composed Niçoise Salad, which I enjoyed very much after I picked out all the olives.
