Rare is the evil mood whose clutches can't be weakened by the whole-hearted kindness and generosity of dear friends and a game of mini-golf. I had a lovely time in Rehoboth.

How on earth did I ever get to be 47 years old?

I'm off to Rehoboth for a quick overnight visit. It'll be nice to be out of the city for little bit.

I was considering buying an eyeTV 200, but was balking at the $299 price tag...

While in the Apple store trying to deal with the non-fitting RAM issue, and I happened to see an eyeTV box. It was a "refreshed" item, on sale for HALF PRICE.

Scoooooooore! I like it, but I need to get an antenna for it. Best Buy, here I come! (And maybe I can get a new battery for my cordless phone at the same time.)

Ouch. Back on full crutchitude again.

And I'm having to transfer files via Airport, painfully slowly from my Cube to my new iMac G5, because firewire target disk mode causes the iMac's Finder to hang. Can you say "tedium?"

If this news doesn't make your heart beat a little faster, then I weep for your soul.

I hope we get to go there in person one day. And I really hope we find life, or traces of life. Life is tough but fragile, and if we don't nurture it here it could wind up being as imperiled on Earth as microbes on Mars.
